If you are familiar with Curtis Moore at all, many of you will know that we’re enthusiastic about giving back to charity, even when it means facing our fears in order to raise funds for a special cause!
So, on the last weekend of August, our Financial Director, Yvonne Devlin, and our Pre-Construction Manager, Ailie Adam, were brave enough to take part in an unbelievable Zipslide across the River Clyde, in an effort to raise awareness and funds for a special charity to us – Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland (SBHS).
Together they managed to raise almost £900 for the charity, which we’re delighted about! We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has donated, we’re extremely grateful for every penny!
Curtis Moore has been financially supporting and working with this charity for many, many years now, usually attending charity events such as the annual Ladies Lunch and donating auction prizes. This year however, we decided to go that step further and take on a rather more daring challenge.
