Curtis Moore (Cladding Systems) Ltd specialise in the Building Envelope Roofing, Cladding and Facades and operate throughout the UK in various sectors within the Construction Industry. As one of the UK’s leading roofing and cladding contractors in the Nuclear, Energy from Waste, and Defence Sectors, we possess a robust comprehension and extensive experience in operating within complex and strict security environments.

 

Our portfolio of projects proudly boasts some of the construction industry’s most prestigious and award-winning Buildings.

 

Working closely with Clients and Supply Chain Members, we offer a full project service from early inception, through the design process to installation and completion, utilising the latest processes and technology available today to deliver the highest standard of finish on time and on budget.

Our Approach

Since we began in 2000, we have aligned Curtis Moore with successful projects of all sizes, from schools, pharmaceutical plants, airport aviation facilities, Network Rail Infrastructure, Energy from Waste to Nuclear.

Through these projects we have gained a first class reputation for our extensive knowledge and expertise in all aspects of roofing and envelope design. This has allowed us to develop our professional full service approach, tailored to meet the needs of each individual client, from start to finish.

We work in close partnership with our clients and suppliers alike, ensuring all stakeholders are fully appraised at all times and each is able to deliver the best possible result.

From the initial contact, we build a relationship with the client, taking the time get to know them and fully understand their project requirements. This in turn helps us to select exactly the right people from our team who are equipped with the relevant expertise and skills to carry out the work.

At Curtis Moore, we recognise the importance in supporting local, national and international charities. We regularly support the below charities through regular monetary donations, prize donations and fund raising. We also support local organisations by sponsoring and supplying kits to local football and rugby teams.

Our Team

Curtis Moore provides a workplace where everyone is respected, encouraged and supported with a focus on health & well-being.

A great deal of importance is placed on the continual training and development of all staff members and Curtis Moore have a thorough training programme in place. We invest over 1% of our annual turnover on staff training and development with courses for site operatives, office staff and senior management.

We are supporting employees who are completing further university studies to obtain degree level qualifications.
Curtis Moore actively encourages internal promotion and will always support anyone who wishes to progress in the business.

Curtis Moore promotes females working within the construction industry and has females in many key roles within the business.

We hold regular team building days to encourage a strong relationship between all employees.

Apprenticeship & Graduate Schemes

Every year Curtis Moore employ several apprentices. The apprentices split their time between attending college and working with our experienced site teams and managers to gain a practical understanding of the works. Upon successful completion of their studies and experience, our apprentices gain an NVQ qualification.

We have employed a new graduate on a 6 month internship to offer experience in the construction industry.

Community Engagement

Whenever possible, we will use local companies for the duration of our projects and work with main contractors to engage with and educate the local community

We have also attended a number of careers events where we engage with school children and discuss the career opportunities within the construction industry.

Environmental Management

Curtis Moore operate a minimal waste policy on all projects and hold a SEPA waste carriers licence. We ensure that all our suppliers also hold similar policies and endeavour to deliver products with minimal waste packaging.

For each project, toolbox talks will be conducted as well as objectives, targets and programmes being set to control and reduce the effect of environmental aspects through our HSEQ Objectives register and environmental management programme.

Sustainable Procurement

Curtis Moore is committed to sustainable procurement. Our policy outlines factors we will always take into consideration such as: what products are made from, where they have come from, who has made them, how they are transported and how they are eventually disposed of.
