Curtis Moore is thrilled to announce Matt Long as our new Business Development Manager for England! Matt is based at our Manchester office and his focus will be on establishing and developing the Curtis Moore profile south of the border and growing our client base in the region.
Experience
Matt brings with him a wealth of experience in the construction, having worked in the industry for the last 24 years, starting out in scaffolding as Business Development and Contracts Manager working on several large projects throughout the country.
Matt has also managed and run his own business within the industry working in social housing which allowed him to develop many management & communication skills working with large teams of multi trade contractors and liaising with hundreds of tenants across several schemes. He then moved into the retail sector working on large shopping centre developments building his business development and contract management skills.
Focus at Curtis Moore
Prior to joining Curtis Moore, Matt also gained experience in the roofing and cladding sector. As Business Development Manager, Matt’s immediate focus will be to develop the expanding business across the North West of England, specifically in Manchester, Liverpool & Leeds as well as the surrounding areas.
Matt said: “With offices in Manchester and Telford, we are ideally located to service these areas. We have some fantastic relationships with some of the biggest names in construction and are given the chance to work on some prestigious projects. This again is a real focus of mine, to maintain and develop these relationships and make sure we remain the talking point when cladding and roofing is being discussed. I’m two months into my new role with the company and I’m already picking up some great feedback and opportunities, as they say the skies the limit, but with the Aviation side to the business, is the sky really the limit? Watch this space!”
Matt feels that his new role at Curtis Moore will be the best of both worlds, giving him the opportunity to develop an exciting business across England and remaining involved at site level when required.
