Here at Curtis Moore, we recognise our people are a major asset. That’s why we are committed to offering staff the best possible training and development opportunities to help them succeed in their chosen career – and in turn, deliver the very best for our clients.
We have developed a strategy of ‘growing our own’. Central to this strategy is sponsoring employees who have the desire for self-development through gaining relevant qualifications. We provide employees with the opportunity for further education or skills training and we actively encourage participation in these learning and development activities.
We have a number of team members who have already successfully combined work and study to achieve a formal qualification, and at the same time, gained essential on-the-job work experience. Most recently, Lee Davis joined us as Trainee CAD Designer. Lee worked with us part-time while studying Architectural CAD Design at City of Glasgow College. After successfully completing his 2-year course, we were delighted to welcome him to the business as a full-time member of staff. We aim to help him develop his existing skills within our design department through an ongoing training and development programme.
While training and development activities don’t guarantee progression, we encourage this and make it happen wherever possible. This approach helps us attract, develop and retain talented employees, shaping them for the roles of the future.
We’re immensely proud of our award-winning team at Curtis Moore – and we want them to be as equally proud to work here.
