IOSH Award for Ailie Adam!

Curtis Moore is celebrating yet another award, this time for our focus on health and safety – an issue we take very seriously throughout the company. We are delighted that Ailie Adam, our Pre-construction Manager, has won a Health and Safety award at this year’s IOSH West of Scotland Branch Certificate of Merit Awards. The event took place last Thursday 27 April at Glasgow’s Hampden Park.

The award is for those who are not a health and safety professional, but whose actions have made a valuable contribution to safety within their organisation, going above and beyond to support the health and safety message. A committee of safety professionals judged the nominations with tough competition coming from all over the West of Scotland. The awards annual dinner is now in its 9th year running, however the Certificate of Merit award is in fact celebrating its 26th anniversary. It recognises those who excel in driving the health and safety agenda within their workplace, and Ailie has rightly done this throughout Curtis Moore.

The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is the world’s biggest professional health and safety membership organisation, they campaign on issues that affect millions of working people. They also set standards and support, develop and connect their members with resources, guidance, events and training.

The awards event was a wonderful evening and we are very proud of Ailie. Health and safety is at the core of everything we do, and this award reinforces our company wide commitment.
