I’m the owner and CEO of Curtis Moore (Cladding Systems) Limited. I started the company with my wife Yvonne in 2000 and together we’re proud of what we have achieved over the last 18 years, building the business from its humble beginnings over the kitchen table to a thriving enterprise employing 30 staff and 70 operatives.
With over 30 years experience in roofing and cladding systems, I’m often approached to provide advice at the specification stage of projects, and I like offering solutions for even the most complex roofing and cladding challenges. And it’s not just about the design solutions, my experience of managing contracts is often invaluable at the planning stages, something I’m also happy to assist with when required.
One of my greatest successes is the management team I have built up over the years. The ability to build a good team stems from the fact I have first hand experience of every part of the production process, so I understand the demands of each role and who in the company is best to fulfil each task. Although, the state-of-the-art CAD system is something I do tend to leave to others!
Some say I’m obsessive, however I believe attention to detail is one of my main strengths; I like to think this trait has been effectively passed down through the company meaning we get to work on some very prestigious contracts, and work with some of the best suppliers in the market.
When I was younger, I wanted to be… An Optician would you believe! – Didn’t have the brains!
If I had a fantasy dinner party, I would invite… My lovely wife and children
My favourite quote is… ‘If you build it they will come ‘ – From the movie Field of Dreams
Don't tell anyone, but my guilty pleasure is… There is not enough room on this page to list them, however anyone who knows me has a rough idea of what I like!
You would never believe me if I told you… That in 1976 I was in the Apollo dressed in the Tartan at a Bay city rollers Concert – Street Cred nil Now!View my profile on LinkedIn

I’m Ashleigh and for the past 5 and half years I’ve been the Business Development Manager for Curtis Moore Ltd. Although only working direct with the company for this length of time, I’ve been involved since the beginning as Curtis Moore was founded by my mum and dad 16 years ago!! Within my role I liaise with clients and main contractors on new business opportunities, work with them direct from obtaining the project information through to submission. It’s then my job to try and turn a tender into a contract. Over the past few years our company has greatly expanded and along with this we’ve formed a much larger customer base. I ensure we are servicing all our customers as promptly and efficiently as possible at tender stage – building relationships is key within my role. In my spare time I run a small on-line babywear and baby shower company – Miniature Munchkins and love working out (especially going to spin classes!)

I have watched the company grow to what it is today and am excited to see what the future holds. I became Director in March 2019, a title which I am extremely delighted to hold.
