We are
now in the final stages of the Kalzip roofing project at Wythenshawe Interchange in Greater Manchester.
Curtis Moore started on site on 16th September 2014, and works have progressed well on the structural decking to both the main and lower level buildings.
Kier Construction are the main contractors and it has been designed by Aedas Architects. The project is being delivered by TfGM, with joint funding from them and Manchester City Council.
We completed the roofing build up and top sheet installation before Christmas and we commenced installation of the Bailey’s eaves system at the beginning of the year. We are now completing the finishing touches to the expensive facia and very high quality Soffit System.
The Interchange will provide a modern, high quality gateway to the town centre for both bus and Metrolink passengers, improving public transport links to jobs, education and leisure with over 52,000 people working in Wythenshawe across a variety of large employers.
