Often, we showcase our work on multi-million-pound projects alongside some of the UK’s biggest construction groups. However, we do in fact work on a wide range of projects, both large and small, for commercial and private clients.
Recently we completed a 2,000 Sq.m. roof and wall cladding project for a private client in Glasgow. The works included the installation of a profiled metal clad over-roof system, laid over the existing asbestos cement roof, together with the over-cladding of the rear gable of the building. The project was challenging in that the existing roof purlins were concrete and difficult to fix to. In addition, we had to utilise several forms of fall prevention / arrest due to difficult access with internal offices and inaccessible areas. After completion, we were delighted to receive a glowing commendation from our client.
Bill Gilmour, Managing Director at our client Wilson Watson McVinnie Ltd praised the Curtis Moore team for an excellent job, “The job from start to finish was conducted in a highly professional and courteous manner. It’s clear the company’s high standards flow throughout the whole team – both office and site operatives – who completed the job to the highest standards. A special mention goes to Site Manager Chaz Davis and Site Foreman Barry Gilmour, who answered my many questions during regular site visits – my sincere thanks. As a consequence of my experience and observations during this project, I’d have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Curtis Moore for any roofing and cladding works.”
Andrew Devlin, Chief Executive at Curtis Moore said “I’m delighted to receive such a glowing report from Bill. All involved certainly flew the flag and demonstrated what Curtis Moore is all about, irrespective of size of project – delivery and customer satisfaction.”
