We are delighted to be working once again with main contractor Morrison Construction, in the development of another school in Lanarkshire, the £8 million replacement of St Dominic’s Primary School in Airdrie.
The new school will have capacity for 250 pupils as well as providing 40 nursery places for 3-5 year olds and a further 10 places for 2 year olds. New facilities will include a large dining/social space, flexible break out spaces for all classrooms, sports and drama spaces, and is expected to be one of the most sustainable schools in North Lanarkshire.
Building works are expected to last around 18 months with Curtis Moore commencing on site at the end of November to install the Kalzip Roofing Works and Kingspan Quadcore Cladding. We are delighted to be once again working with Morrison Construction on a fantastic project in the education sector.
