Scottish Apprenticeship Week takes place next week from 6 to 10 March and Curtis Moore is delighted to support the nationwide campaign to highlight the importance of apprenticeships in our industry.
We aim to use the week to showcase three of our current apprentices and share more information about our own apprenticeship programme.
As a business and as an employer, Curtis Moore supports Scottish Apprenticeship Week and would encourage more employers to take on apprentices.
We have taken on at least one new apprentice every year to join our Roof Sheeting & Cladding Training. On completion of our apprenticeship programme candidates receive an SVQ qualification.
We hope by sharing our successful experience of recruiting apprentices that other employers in the construction industry will consider doing the same.
The theme for 2017 is ‘Apprenticeships are Changing’ which aims to show that apprenticeships work for businesses, individuals and the economy as a whole.
Keep an eye out for our blogs next week in which we showcase our current apprentices.
