Curtis Moore are proud to be the contractor who carried out the roofing, cladding and facade packages at the state of the art training facility for Strathclyde Fire and Rescue, at their new Cambuslang location. Over a 14 month programme, Curtis Moore installed over 10,000 Sq.m.of roofing, cladding and façade systems over the numerous buildings located on the site. The hub of the facility is the Academic Building, on which Curtis Moore installed over 5,000 Sq.m. of built up single ply roof coverings. On the elevations, we installed over 2,000 Sq.m. Of the innovative Benchmark rainscreen system finished with polished granite cladding.

The facility is used for the training of staff, and the site has numerous buildings which represent real life situations which fire fighters face daily in the line of duty. Buildings include mock High rise flats, a Church, Tenements, petrochemical and rail buildings. All of these buildings were weathered with various systems installed by Curtis Moore. The range of products used on site include;
