Curtis Moore are delighted to have completed the roofing and cladding installation at the new £55 million Inverurie Community Campus on behalf of Robertson Construction.

The new school features 73 classrooms and labs, a large dining hall and kitchen and a conference room. It can accommodate 1,600 pupils – making it one of the largest schools in the North-East of Scotland – and will provide a range of amenities for the wider community, including outdoor football pitches and a health centre.

The project saw Curtis Moore install Kalzip roofing to the sports block, swimming pool and teaching block, with Protan single ply roofing also being installed to the teaching block. We then installed Kalzip walls on the teaching block and Rodeca to the sports block.

In addition, we used timber and ACM Rainscreen, Triflex liquid applied waterproofing solution to the plant areas, syphonic drainage to the Kalzip and Protan roofs, and finally, installed louvre screens to the roof to complement the building’s aesthetics.
