Project Progress – Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre

Last week, our Managing Director, Andrew Devlin paid a flying visit to our sites in the South – visiting jobs in Norfolk and our fantastic project at Farnborough airport where we are doing the roofing and cladding works at the new exhibition and conference centre.

It was back in January that we announced that we had secured the roofing and cladding contract on the new Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre and we are pleased to report that works are progressing well on schedule. The project is one of the largest construction sites in the area and we began on site earlier this year in March.

We have started cladding the south elevation on Hall 1.1 and the roof was finished by 15/5/17, with work progressing into Hall 1.2 where liner sheets have been fully fitted and Quattro bars being fitted as we speak.

On 15/5/17, site rolling of external sheeting for Hall 1.2 and Suite 4 was commenced. Roof liners were started on 17/5/17 to commence the hot melt works to the plant roof on the east foyer.

Graeme Ritchie accompanied Andrew on the site visit and they met with our site manager Craig Stirling who is doing a ‘Sterling’ job delivering the project.

Works are scheduled to be completed on site by Curtis Moore by late 2017.
