We are teaming up with Warden Construction for the first time on the Porsche showroom project in Preston, the first of its kind in the city. Main contractors Warden Construction have been appointed by the Bowker Motor Group to build the 43,000 sq ft motor centre.
The demolition of the previous structure, Watery Lane, began in July and has since been completed. Work on site has begun and the project is expected to open its door in the spring of 2019. The Curtis Moore team will be deployed on site this month and our scope of works include the installation of Kingspan composite roof panels and Alucobond rainscreen system on the walls.

The building will feature a 35-car showroom with a 13-bay workshop. There will also be two customer handover bays; two direct dialogue bays which enable service advisors to demonstrate the scope of technical work from every angle and electrical vehicle charging points.
The construction project will create more than 30 jobs within the Preston area and will be the 40th Porsche centre in the UK network.
Managing Director of Curtis Moore, Euan Walker, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Warden Construction for the first time on such a great project and we hope it is the first of many more to come. We’re also proud to be part of a such a prestigious retail development which will transform the area of Preston.”
