Off to a flying start…

We’re delighted to have begun 2015 with a flurry of orders and a very healthy number of contracts won so far.

Now as we approach the half way point of the year we have worked on a number of key projects and the orders continue to come in. A busy 2015 is extra special to us as we celebrated our 15th year in business just a couple of months back.

We have been successful in our bid to supply the composite panel roof and walls with mesh rain screen for the Audi Showroom in Aberdeen for main contractors Robertson Construction. Works have begun on our £3.5 million project with Galliford Try, to deliver a primary and secondary school in Wick, Scotland.

We have just completed a significantly sized project in Bellshill for Walker Snacks – the stripping of Asbestos Cement and re-roofing of approx. 6,000 sq.m. of their existing facility in Bellshill.

We have also been contracted to carry out the re-cladding and roofing of a building at the Forward Finger Facility at Prestwick Airport as well as working on the renovation of Chinatown in Glasgow in a flat to pitched roof conversion project.

We also continue to work within the framework agreement we have with South Lanarkshire Council to provide roofing and cladding for a range of new build and existing Schools in the area. We have also secured a Kalzip project for New Lanark Primary School for SLC.

Another two Kalzip school projects were awarded to us to work on the the new build Perth High School and Kirkilston Primary School in West Lothian.

We have also successfully won work in the aeuonautical and manufacturing sectors this year with the over-cladding of 10,000 sq.m of production space for Spirit Aero Systems, the aviation component manufacturer at their facility in Prestwick , as well as the over-cladding of existing Hangars in the National Museum of Flight for main contractors Balfour Beatty. In addition, we have secured over £1million of business with our valued client GSK for the stripping and re-cladding of various buildings located on their Irvine site.

Re-roofing works have been awarded to us from Church of Scotland to be carried out on St. Marks Church in Drumchapel.

Our Yorkshire office is also going from strength to strength with significant contracts being awarded south of the border – Leigh Mental Health Unit for main contractors KEIR Construction and Warren Wood School for main contractor Whitfield & Brown due to begin later this year.

We plan to update our blog with the progress of as many projects as possible so remember to check back in with us throughout 2015 on our website and on social media.
