MRI link bridge taking shape

We reported in our blog back in February, that construction of the new state-of-the-art high-level patient transfer corridor at Manchester Royal Infirmary had commenced, on behalf of our client Engie. When complete, the corridor will connect a helipad landing site to Manchester Royal Infirmary (MRI), Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital (RMCH), Saint Mary’s Hospital (SMH) and Manchester Royal Eye Hospital (MREH).

We’re pleased to share some new progress shots of the ground-breaking link bridge below. The 130m long bridge is really taking shape now as we work to install the composite panel walls with stainless steel rainscreen.
