Curtis Moore is delighted to add ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 to our existing ISO 9001 certification after an intensive 2 stage audit process from BSI in October & December 2017.
We have held the ISO 9001 certification in Quality Management for several years but wanted to add to it to show our commitment to Health & Safety and Environmental Management.
BSI were the first national standards body in the world and work with companies throughout many industries to help businesses reduce risk, increase efficiency, manage their supply chain and cope with compliance.
The process started earlier in 2017 by our Pre-Construction Manager, Ailie Adam, with the ambitious target of gaining certification for all three standards by the end of 2017. Having successfully reached this goal, our combined certification from BSI will open a wealth of opportunity for Curtis Moore. Each accreditation acquired showcases a company’s excellence, and we are proud to be included within this elite group. It will not only allow us to tender for more jobs and attract new customers, but it also gives us a competitive edge and staples trust throughout Curtis Moore.
Notably, having all three certifications will allow us to speed up the pre-qualifying stage for tenders which will assist in the growth and expansion we are aiming for both nationally and internationally in the coming years.
Ultimately, it will provide assurance that we are a highly credible leader in the construction industry based on the impartial assessment of BSI. It removes risk for customers and reinforces confidence that Curtis Moore is extremely capable and competent at any job required.
We are proud to have joined a very small number of UK businesses that possess all three BSI certificates. This underpins our high level of service and quality work that we carry out for all of our clients.
