We have finished roll-forming the 50m long Kalzip top sheets at roof height on the SRP Production Building. The project The Curtis Moore team has recently completed the roll-forming of the 50m long Kalzip top sheets at roof height on the SRP Production Building, covering the 3,500m² roof. Planning for the nuclear sector Working in the nuclear sector adds logistical challenges that go well beyond a typical construction site. Strict security, access and safety requirements shape how and when every task can take place. That makes careful planning essential. This operation followed several months of planning with various stakeholders. It was carried out with support from the Mammoet lifting team, whose expertise was key to getting the roller safely into position and working at height. The result is a major milestone in the overall delivery of this project. A dedicated team at Sellafield The SRP Production Building is one of several projects Curtis Moore is currently delivering at Sellafield.
