South Clyde Energy Centre – Project Progress Update

Earlier this year, we shared an update on our involvement at the South Clyde Energy Centre (SCEC) in Glasgow, where Curtis Moore secured the building envelope package following more than two years of close collaboration with the client, architects, and wider design team.

Since works commenced on site in summer 2025, the project has continued to progress well and it has been great to capture updated drone footage and photography showing how the building is taking shape.

The development has now moved firmly into a highly visible stage of construction. It is particularly rewarding to see key elements of the envelope progressing, including the installation of the Kalzip standing seam roofing system, Eurobond composite cladding, and the u-channel glass façade. Together, these systems are beginning to define the architectural character of the building while providing the robust performance required for a facility of this scale..

With the project continuing to gather momentum on site, it has been fantastic to capture the progress from above and document how the South Clyde Energy Centre is evolving. We look forward to sharing further updates as the installation works continue and the building moves closer to completion.
