At Curtis Moore, supporting our local community isn’t a one-off gesture — it’s an ongoing commitment. Following our support earlier this year, we were proud to once again support Sunshine Wishes Children’s Charity during their 2025 Christmas Toy Drive, playing our part in helping bring comfort and joy to families during a particularly challenging time of year.
This Christmas, our team donated several laptops and monitors, which were re-homed with families who would otherwise have been unable to afford access to technology. Alongside this, we contributed £500 towards Sunshine Wishes’ Christmas Toy Appeal, as we did last year, helping the charity continue their festive support for children and families across the local community.
In addition, Curtis Moore colleagues came together to hold a day of fundraising events, collecting many boxes of food donations for Sunshine Wishes’ food bank locations. These donations will continue to support families beyond the Christmas period, providing essential help when it’s needed most.
We were very grateful to receive a message from Sunshine Wishes sharing the wider impact of their Christmas appeal. They explained that thanks to the generosity of supporters, many children and families experienced joy, comfort, and reassurance during the festive season — easing the burden on parents and reminding children that they are cared for and not forgotten. They also shared a small collage of images offering a glimpse of the happiness created through the collective efforts of everyone involved.
Alongside our work with Sunshine Wishes, we also chose to support another local cause this Christmas. Our Christmas Jumper Day, bake sale, and raffle raised £250, which we donated to the local Cat & Dog Home — a cause close to the hearts of many within our team.
We’d like to thank Sunshine Wishes Children’s Charity for the vital work they do throughout the year, and for allowing us to contribute in a small way to their mission. We’re proud of our team for their generosity and enthusiasm, and we look forward to continuing to support our local community in the future.
