At Curtis Moore, we believe that every child deserves access to the tools that help them learn, grow, and thrive. That’s why we were delighted to support Sunshine Wishes Children’s Charity by donating a range of IT equipment — including laptops, towers, and monitors — alongside a £500 donation to help further their fantastic work.
We’re proud to share that these contributions have already made a real impact in our local community. Thanks to the incredible efforts of Sunshine Wishes, the equipment reached several families experiencing financial hardship:
- A single father raising six children now has a laptop to help support his kids’ schoolwork and digital learning — the children were described as “over the moon” to receive it.
- Another laptop was gifted to a family with two young boys; the parents decided to give it to their eldest son for his birthday, and he now shares it with his younger brother.
- A family with three children received a tower and monitor, providing them with a dedicated setup for education and homework — something they previously didn’t have access to.
- One of the laptops went to a family with a nine-year-old girl who is non-verbal; the device will be a huge aid in helping her communicate with her parents and support her learning journey.
Sunshine Wishes were kind enough to share some photos showing the children making good use of this equipment. While we’d love to share these moments publicly, we fully respect the families’ wishes for privacy — and understand the importance of protecting their identities.
These stories highlight just how vital access to technology is for children today — not just for education, but also for confidence, connection, and new opportunities. We feel privileged to have been able to help, and it’s wonderful to see the positive difference this has already made.
We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Sunshine Wishes Children’s Charity for the incredible work they do every day, and for keeping us updated on the families supported by this donation. We look forward to working together again in the future and continuing to support our local community.
