Located on Heriot-Watt University’s Edinburgh Campus, in partnership with The University of Edinburgh, the National Robotarium is a world-leading centre for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence creating innovative solutions to global challenges. The largest and most advanced applied research facility for robotics and artificial intelligence in the UK, they work collaboratively with industry partners around the globe and act as a gateway to the UK Robotics sector and Government support.

Curtis Moore were delighted to work with Robertson Construction on this exciting and innovative project with Curtis Moore installing the external gold and grey TwinSkin cladding. The building has been designed with a clear focus on sustainability and energy efficiency with an intelligent façade that provides solar heat and recycles warm air as well as an ecological zone to integrate sustainable urban drainage systems.

The National Robotarium officially opened its doors following a special opening event on Wednesday 28th September.
