The Yorkshire office have recently commenced on site with our £750k project at the new Lifestyle Centre in Crewe. This is our second successive award from major contactors Kier, and we are delighted to be involved in this prestigious contract.
The project is being managed by our contracts Manager James Keery, and our team are well through the perforated decking to the swimming pool area. The roof areas of the building are being waterproofed with various specifications ranging from a built up ICOPAL warm roof on perforated Deck, to Topdeck by Kingspan, Hot melt and traditional built up membranes on metal decking.
Curtis Moore are also carrying out external Kingspan claddings to several elevations and installing the feature cladding to the numerous ‘eyebrow’ features around the building.
For Cheshire East Council, the Lifestyle concept is the integration of all the services that citizens need in relation to their lifestyle in one place. A place to read and learn, to exercise, to have a health related check-up, to participate in community events and to receive social services on offer by the Council. For Cheshire East, the Crewe Lifestyle Centre will provide new all-inclusive leisure facilities, modern family and adult social care provision and community facilities all in one place.
Works are scheduled to be complete on site for Curtis Moore by end of April 2015.
