Due to continued expansion, we are delighted to welcome Julie Ferguson to the business as HR Manager.
Julie has over a decade of experience in all aspects of Human Resource Management, having worked in a variety of sectors including Legal, Facilities Management, Manufacturing and Automotive. A strong ambassador for employee engagement and improvement initiatives, Julie’s role will see her further instil our core company values and improve workplace employee satisfaction, offer training and coaching to line managers, and oversee the implementation of the company’s new bespoke HR system.
Julie is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider and has experience in providing mental health support and guidance to line managers and employees.
Yvonne Devlin, Group Financial Director at Curtis Moore said, “As the business and headcount continues to grow, we recognised the need for an HR Manager to support us in a number of key areas; GDPR compliance, Mental Health management (a pertinent and well-known issue within the Construction sector) and the implementation of our new bespoke HR system. We also recognise the ongoing impact the COVID pandemic has on managing our workforce, from self-isolation protocols and managing home working, to putting in place new health and wellbeing procedures. All of these meant we required a dedicated, full-time HR resource. Julie’s extensive knowledge and experience, coupled with her approachable and friendly personality, made her the ideal candidate to join our team!”
