The Strictly Stars…Team Curtis Moore
It’s a 10 from us!!
Soon we’ll be seeing our Chief Executive and Group Financial Director Andrew & Yvonne Devlin take to the dance floor as part of Team Curtis Moore to raise vital funds for the Wellbeing Unit at the Beatson Cancer Centre.
On the 8th October, team Curtis Moore (6 VERY amateur non dancers) with the help of 2 professionals – Kevin & Maria will be taking part in the Strictly Beatson Dance Competition at the Glasgow Hilton Doubletree.
Almost everyone has been touched by cancer in some way and we want to raise funds to make the difficult period of treatment more bearable, comfortable and less lonely. The Wellbeing Unit provides all types of advice and support from a befriending service to wig making to simply a place to go and chill in tranquil surroundings. It takes away the feeling of isolation some patients experience when going through their treatment as it’s a place where they can chat to experts and other patients over a coffee.
The team have been in rehearsals since May and only have until the 8th October to perfect their routine which they will perform in from of over 600 guests competing against 4 other teams.
