Working in a highly regulated and scrutinized industry, it is important for contractors at all levels to embrace a culture of safety and sustainability at all times.

Balfour Beatty is one firm who reward their workforce and stakeholders for good practice in all aspects of safety and regulation.

Last month, the Curtis Moore team on site with Balfour Beatty at a project in Norfolk were rewarded for using resources sustainably. Andy Kelly and Jim Letham got creative by repurposing recycled pallets and reclaimed planks to build an on-site drawing desk.

Photographed here, Jim Letham was delighted to win Balfour Beatty’s Monthly Safety Observation Card award for which he received a £25 Amazon voucher presented here by Balfour Beatty’s M&F Site Manager, Barney Aldridge.
