Curtis Moore (Cladding Systems) Ltd will ensure that all operations are carried out in a manner to reduce risk, accidents and incidents, ill health and environmental harm.

Our management structure for Health, Safety and Environmental clearly defines the roles and responsibilities of all employees.

  • The Managing Director has direct responsibility for the general oversight of health and safety and welfare within the company
  • Risk management strategies are developed in consultation with our employees and contractors to develop a common understanding of the risks and how to control them
  • The company considers the well-being of its employees and contractors a priority and will provide information, training and consultation
  • Good safety and environmental practices are promoted through training, toolbox talks and provision of relevant information

The development of a ‘no risk culture’ will be supported by an appraisal process and training of all employees and contractors which includes:

  • Clear and easily understood procedures and instructions on health, safety and environmental law and how to ensure compliance are made available
  • Provision of practical guides for good health and safety and environmental practice for activities relevant to the company and its employees

We have implemented Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems to ensure the progressive & continual improvement of our standards and our performance. These systems include:

  • Pro-active and reactive systems for the monitoring and measurement of activities, achievements and performance
  • Appropriate reporting systems for accidents, incidents and ill health
  • Specific objectives and targets are set and regularly reviewed

Environmental issues are promoted through training and considered during the risk assessment process to ensure legal compliance with particular focus on waste minimisation and prevention of pollution.

This Policy will be reviewed by the Managing Director on an Annual Basis.

All Curtis Moore employees and contractors, regardless of their rank or position, have the right and responsibility to STOP an activity if they believe it is unsafe or fails to meet the required Health & Safety or Environmental standards. Health & Safety will not be compromised for any other objectives.
